A board-certified ophthalmologist and eye surgeon at our Oklahoma City (OKC) practice, Dr. Britton is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine, and he received his residency training in ophthalmology from Ochsner Hospital in New Orleans, LA.

As a cataract surgery and LASIK specialist in OKC, Dr. Britton has performed more than 30,000 cataract surgeries and more than 21,000 LASIK procedures, including on members of his family and dozens of referring doctors. He has even chosen LASIK to improve his own eyesight.

Specialized Training & Certifications
Dr. Britton was Summit and VISX trained in 1996 for PRK and PTK, Intralase trained in 2005, and also trained and experienced in the use of Lasersight and Alcon LADARVision Excimer lasers for LASIK.
In addition, he is one of the few eye surgeons in OKC certified to use EVO implantable contact lenses (ICL).
Giving Back
Dr. Britton trains doctors throughout the United States and Canada in refractive procedures and has been honored as one of the top 50 refractive surgeons in North America.
In addition, Dr. Britton has an ongoing interest in Christian medical missions and has made a number of surgical mission trips to Guatemala.
